Dave Allen takes 3 Gold and 3 Silver Awards for his products!

• GOLD - Free Range, Traditional pork thin Sausage
• SILVER - Free Range Dry Cure  Gammon  Steak (with a hint of Honey)
• SILVER - Free Range pork, Traditional thick Sausage
• SILVER - Pork & Apple Tray Bake ( Free Range pork steak topped with Award Winning Sausage meat and special apple Chutney).

The products were competeing in the BPEX North West regional butchers roadshow event at the Reebok Stadium in Bolton on Wednesday the 9th November.

Dave was delighted with his awards saying " It is only in competition with your fellow butchers that you really get to test yourself and establish if your products are as good as you think they are".

Butchers covet awards for plain product as these are the most difficult catagories to win, a winning entry requires careful selection, good butchery techniques and an undesrtanding of the Judges expectation.
