Broughs Butchers is delighted to announce that we will be working along side Kings Meadow Primary School, to help the children with their latest venture.

The children of Kings Meadow Primary School, Ainsdale, have created an allotment within the school grounds, in which they can produce and grow their very own vegetables and fruits  (See pic below).

The children of Kings Meadow also have the luxury of being able to look after chickens, which in turn produce eggs which the children use to bake in their very own kitchen within the school.

Broughs Butchers plays its part by actively supporting the project at Kings Meadow by offering expert advice on quality meat and what quality meat actually is and where it comes from. The children use Broughs website and the farm visited page to understand further as to where the meat they eat comes from.

Broughs Butchers and Kings Meadow Primary School hope to sell the produce in the future to the general public.
